Privacy policy
This policy explains how Vocal Ladder (https://ktkwmr.com/vocalladder/, "this site") handles information. In short: the app runs entirely on your device, and nothing you choose in it is sent anywhere.
1. What you do in the app
The practice sets and settings you enter are processed, and the piano sound is made, only in your browser. They are never sent to our server or to anyone else. The app does not use the microphone and does not record your voice. This site has no accounts, and we do not ask for your name, email address, or other personal information.
Export and import: Export saves all your practice sets and saved patterns as one file on your device (or passes it to your device's share menu, which you choose where to send). Import reads a file you choose on your device. Neither sends the file to us. If you send an exported file to someone, it contains every set, with the set names and exercise names you typed, so do not put personal information you do not want to share in them.
2. Data saved in your browser
The following data is saved in your browser's storage on your device. It is not sent to us.
- Your practice sets: the name of each set, and the name, notes, start and end keys, step, tempo, and piano settings of each exercise, which set and exercise are selected, your saved patterns (name and notes), the sound, and the volume, so you can continue next time.
- App files: the pages and files of this site you have opened, so the app works offline.
To delete this data, use ⚙ → “Delete all saved data” in the app, or clear this site's data (site data, cookies, and storage for ktkwmr.com) in your browser settings.
3. Information sent to external services
When you use this site, your browser sends information to the following services. This list also serves as the notice of external transmission required under Japan's Telecommunications Business Act.

4. Cookies and advertising
This site does not set cookies and does not show ads. If we add ads in the future, we will update this policy before they are shown.
5. Analytics
To see how many people use this site, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It counts page views without cookies and without identifying or tracking individual visitors across sites. We do not use Google Analytics.
6. Sharing with third parties
We do not collect personal information that identifies you, and we do not sell or provide it to third parties, except where required by law.
