Privacy policy
This policy explains how Sheet Music Player (https://ktkwmr.com/sheetmusicplayer/, "this site") handles information. In short: the photos, images, and PDFs you open are read entirely on your device, and they are never sent anywhere.
1. What you do in the app
The photos, images, and PDFs you open are read (optical music recognition and tempo marking recognition) only in your browser, with a reading engine that is downloaded from this site and runs on your device. The files, the notes read from them, and the sound are never sent to our server or to anyone else. This site has no accounts, and we do not ask for your name, email address, or other personal information.
2. The camera
When you take a photo in the app, your browser asks for permission to use the camera. The camera image is shown only on your screen, and the photo you take is read in the same way as a file you open. It is not saved and not sent anywhere. The camera is turned off when you take the photo or close the camera window.
3. Data saved in your browser
The following data is saved in your browser's storage on your device. It is not sent to us.
- The last score: the notes read from the last file you opened (as MusicXML text), the file name, and the tempo, so the score is still there next time. The photo, image, or PDF itself is not saved.
- App files and the reading engine: the pages of this site you have opened and the reading engine (about 130 MB), so the app starts quickly and works offline.
To delete this data, clear this site's data (site data, cookies, and storage for ktkwmr.com) in your browser settings.
4. Information sent to external services
When you use this site, your browser sends information to the following services. This list also serves as the notice of external transmission required under Japan's Telecommunications Business Act.

Your sheet music is not included in any of these.
5. Cookies and advertising
This site does not set cookies and does not show ads. If we add ads in the future, we will update this policy before they are shown.
6. Analytics
To see how many people use this site, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It counts page views without cookies and without identifying or tracking individual visitors across sites. We do not use Google Analytics.
7. Sharing with third parties
We do not collect personal information that identifies you, and we do not sell or provide it to third parties, except where required by law.
